The Snapdragon Fund is a regional regranting initiative by VAE Raleigh that provides direct financial support to artists for their creative practice and to fund their most ambitious ideas. The Snapdragon Fund is one of 32 regional regranting sites funded by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

VAE offers fiscal sponsorships for creative projects and emerging art organizations that align with VAE’s mission. This program enables creative individuals or groups to raise funds for their endeavors in a proactive manner. Fiscal sponsorship allows individuals to solicit charitable donations as a program of VAE, a 501(c)(3) non-profit creativity incubator. Since foundations and other granting organizations require applicants to be tax-exempt organizations, this allows artists to raise funds from individuals, foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

• ON-CALL PHOTOGRAPHERS - VAE is seeking a lineup of on-call photographers to document a bustling program of upcoming exhibitions and events. Once you’ve applied using the form below, your information will be kept on file via an on-call database. If you’re the right fit for an upcoming opportunity, we will reach out to you on an individual basis.
