In January and February of 2019, Notary Public will team up to create an installation of drawings, objects, and video in the Cube.
Notary Public is an artist duo consisting of Jeff Bell and Megan Sullivan. Jeff and Megan have been collaborating since 2015 on work that incorporate aspects of each of their studio practices into new sculptures neither would make alone.
During the month of January, you can see the artists working within the space of the Cube on their new pieces. Their presence will be erratic, much like their studio practices as they juggle working for separate non-profit art institutions, raising their respective children, and nurturing several bad habits each.
The end product of this particular collaboration can be seen in the LAB from March 1-29, 2019. There will be a First Friday reception on March 1.
