I’m Jackie Sanders, a Raleigh-based artist, muralist, and creative collaborator working at the intersection of art, community, and place.

My work ranges from abstract geometric studio pieces to large-scale murals, public art, and creative placemaking projects. I’m especially interested in how color, pattern, and thoughtful design can transform everyday spaces and create opportunities for people to connect with one another and their environment.

Community is a big part of my practice. I’ve collaborated with cities, schools, nonprofits, businesses, engineers, designers, and fellow artists on projects throughout the Triangle, often incorporating community engagement, workshops, or participatory painting into the process. I also love sharing what I’ve learned through teaching, speaking, and conversations with other creatives.

I’m always interested in meeting other artists, educators, arts administrators, fabricators, designers, and creative thinkers in the area. I love learning what other people are working on, exchanging resources, and finding opportunities to collaborate or connect the right person with the right project.

If you’re working on something interesting, looking for an artist for an opportunity, want to collaborate, or simply want to know another creative person in the Triangle, I’d love to connect.
