October 7- November 4, 2016
First Friday Receptions: October 7 & November 4 6-10pm
History and society haven't always been truthful or kind in the depiction of people of color. But whose depictions are they? "Black on Black" is an exhibition where curators of color asked artists of color to share their thoughts on identity in their own voice. #BlackOnBlackVAE
As part of their support of the BLACK On BLACK exhibition ArtsNow has built a playlist and reading list to accompany the exhibition, and a collection of artist video interviews and article about the exhibition. See those and learn more about the programming happening throughout the month here!
