SPEED DATES are thematized 30-minute one-on-ones with area smartypants who can answer your pressing professional questions! This time, we are excited to host four marketing experts from Centerline to chat with you and answer any questions about marketing your work: audience, social media, press releases- you name it! Register now while space is available!
HOW IT WORKS
STEP ONE: Complete the registration form through Wufoo. You will be asked for your contact information and a short survey of questions to help the gurus understand your needs. This event is FREE for current VAE members and $10 for non-members.
Questions/prompts Include:
-What are the five words that BEST describe your creative work?
-What kinds of marketing do you currently do?
-What are your main challenges with marketing your creative work?
-What are your marketing strengths? What do you enjoy?
STEP TWO: Once you've completed step one you'll be immediately rerouted to an outside scheduling service called Sign Up Genius where you will choose the guru(s) and time(s) you want. Once you've done that and hit submit, you're 100% registered!

Monique Simpson Oliver, Senior Digital Strategist
Monique has focused her marketing and advertising career working with some of the biggest B2B and B2C brands in Beauty, CPG and Tech to launch new products and come up with creative ways to get the attention of audiences. In her 'free time" she enjoys working with small businesses to figure out how they can make a big impact with not-so-big budgets.
Meghan McKeon, Senior Digital Strategist
Meghan is a seasoned digital strategist specializing in content strategy and campaign narrative development, with a strong background in social media perations, paid strategy and analytical reporting.
JT Moore, Associate Strategy Director
It is JT's job to help identify the often hidden business objectives driving customer’s needs. He loves the ideation process and takes pride in being the voice of the customer, and end user, to help ensure that the creative does not lose sight of these business objectives. JT believes that good creative is memorable and leaves a mark. Great creative also gets you to take an action.
Brenna Mickey, Interactive Designer
Brenna is a human-focused, strategic, visual and UX designer with a global lens. She have agency experience, as well as a background in consulting non-profits and small businesses. She served in the Peace Corps twice, in Albania for 27 months and as a web design an development consultant in Vanuatu.
