THRESHOLD
Through woodcut prints, oil paintings, gouache, acrylic, graphite drawings, and sculptural work, Threshold explores how we coexist with the natural world - from moments of harmony, conservation, and curiosity to nature's persistent reclamation of what we've built. How do we live alongside nature? When do we intrude? Can we find balance?

The Streetframe windows on Fayetteville and Hargett have gotten a new look. Beginning August 17th, we invite you to experience a new exhibition of hidden spaces with prints by artist Sydney McBride and paintings by artist Garrett Love. Installed in our street facing gallery, these works are designed to be enjoyed round the clock, bringing art into the everyday rhythm in Downtown Raleigh.

Every culture, every person, every landscape knows shadow. September is its natural season, when the light grows long and golden, the world tilts toward darkness, and something in us turns reflective.
For one artist that might mean the literal shadows of a landscape at dusk; for another, the mythological underworld, the hidden self, or the silence between things.
Shadows is an open call for all media and all interpretations, from the observed world to the deeply personal.
