Contemporary Artist Critique with Harriet Hoover

VAE invites area educators and art professionals to do short individual critiques of your work.

The next critique is with guest critic, Harriet Hoover on Tuesday May 29th from 7-8:30pm at VAE Raleigh. 


Harriet Hoover is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is concerned with connecting the past and present with the personal and social through sculpture, performance, and curatorial endeavors. 

Harriet is the recipient of the 2016 – 2017 North Carolina Arts Council Artist Fellowship Award. She studied Art + Design + Textile Technology at NCSU and received an MFA in Sculpture from UNC Greensboro. Harriet is the Coordinator of Studio, Teen and College Programs at the NCMA. She lives and works in Chapel Hill, NC.

 

- The critique session is for Mixed Media and Textile artists. 

- Each artist may bring one piece - completed or in progress - to be critiqued.

- The registration is $5, which will go to our guest critic for their time and knowledge.

- Critique space is limited to 12 participants. 

- Observation is open + free. Floor time + feedback is reserved for paying participants, wishing to bring 1 piece to be critiqued.

- Please follow the registration, regardless of the level of your participation.
