Save the date: February 16, 2019 for VAE’s 35th Annual Gala presented by PNC! Bigger, better, and more creative than ever! More information and tickets available soon.

We have never thrown a party like this one!
VAE’s 35th annual gala is going to be one for the record books. Significant support from PNC Bank has allowed us to take exciting risks with this year’s event and provide you with a bold experience unlike anything we have ever hosted before!

We look forward to hosting you for an evening filled with wondrous experiences, amazing art, tasty food, and fabulous cocktails! We are thrilled to recognize Steve Schuster and Mary Anne Howard as our 2019 Honorary Chairs, highlighting their decades-long support of our mission and the Triangle’s creative community at large. This year’s gala will be hosted in a 180,000+ square foot building that once housed a Kmart department store thanks to Baker Roofing. For the months of February and March 2019 the space will be transformed into our third Black on Black exhibition, which highlights the creative contributions made by people of color. Our 35th gala will take place in the midst of this exhibition, allowing attendees to see VAE’s mission in action!
