FIELD NOTES: PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE OF CLIMATE CHANGE
July 10 - August 24, 2019
Opening: July 12, 6-9pm
First Friday: August 2, 6-10pm
VAE supplied 11 researchers, from Puerto Rico to Maine, with instamatic cameras to document their daily work of observing and conserving our natural world. While their subjects and disciplines vary from humpbacks and coral reefs to salamanders and pond frogs (and everything in between), all of these researchers’ work is impacted by climate change. This project’s resulting 600 photos will offer a glimpse at life on the front lines of this complex global issue.
FIELD NOTES will be on exhibit in VAE’s main gallery for July & August. Photo sale proceeds will be donated to nature conservation group to be chosen by the participating researchers.
