  • 400 South West Street Raleigh, NC, 27601 United States (map)

You’re invited to enjoy BOBV3, presented by PNC, in its NEW location! Join some of the artists, curator, and VAE team for a Rosé Happy Hour!

Tour the exhibition, chat with the team behind it and enjoy Rosé, beer, and snacks. This event is will offer Happy Hour atmosphere to see the art and have conversations about the works and their meaning.

The location is 400 S. West Street, Raleigh in the old Amtrak offices across the railroad tracks behind Jose and Sons (map)

The artwork in the show looks at solutions to some of the issues the community faces through installations, video and mixed media. Here’s the statement by guest curator Mike Williams:

"People of color in the United States have been systematically marginalized by both those in power and the institutions they represent. Media has portrayed us as violent and uneducated, while history books describe us as savages with no moral standing. Since people of color don't control media or write history books, the problem of inaccurate depictions persists."
