QUEER HOME HOUSE SHOW

Come shake the queer house! Join us for a night of music, movement and words from incredibly talented LGBTQ artists on the topic of home. The performances will move through the 4-room home in VAE's Main Gallery. Tickets are $7 and no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Prepare to be dazzled by: Asa, Sand Pact, Tristan Andre Parks & ZenSoFly, and our evening’s host Trey Lynch.

ZenSoFly is a hypnotic music artist/producer hailed by the Indy Week as the "Upstart Raleigh club charmer and image guru." She was born to an Afro-Cuban mother and Filipino/African father in North America and was raised in North Carolina. She has been featured on NPR , Marie Claire Magazine, Sofar Sounds, Tom Tom Magazine, AFROPUNK, Moogfest & more. She's graced the same lineups as Sylvan Esso, Flying Lotus, Madame Ghandi, Kelela, Solange, Suzi Analogue, Erykah Badu, Big Freedia, JunglePu$$y, Kingdom and more. ZenSoFly is a trailblazer and she shows no signs of slowing down.

Sand Pact is a North Carolina-based experimental DJ duo, whose members Kaanchee Gandhi (Kg) and Alex Fresa (Ax) explore universal rhythms and reconstructed dance beats through a unique and improvisational dynamic.

Tristan Andre Parks is a seer who has seen much, abolitionist, researcher and southern queer black survivor, Tristan is completing his sixth and final semester of his MFA training with the Professional Actor Training Program and PlayMakers Repertory Company. Always hoping to emancipate through the ritual of black storytelling, song and dance, Tristan, as well as the collective effort, honors the Trans-Atlantic Commuter, writer, life's singer, James Baldwin. Always. In all ways.
