Enloe’s AP Art students have created pieces of installation art that fill VAE’s main gallery. Each piece considers autism in some aspect - simulating the experience of having autism, creating works that provide sensory stimulation or relaxation.

”ART WITH PURPOSE is about creating an experience for all people in our community to immerse themselves in the power of student creativity, collaboration, and leadership. These students declare they are alive with purpose and their stories are just beginning” - Nate Barilich, Director Enloe Charity Ball

THE BENEFICIARY: Enloe Charity Ball’s 2018 beneficiary is Autism Society of North Carolina’s new IGNITE program which enables adults with High Functioning Autism or Asperger Syndrome reach their full potential through social activities, skills training, and educational workshops that will foster as much social, financial, educational and employment independence as possible for its members. The program is the first of its kind, beginning in Davidson, North Carolina in 2012. With five years of successful results, ASNC is expanding the programs in Raleigh with Enloe Charity Ball’s support.
