Street Painting Workshop

Learn some new techniques, and hone your street painting skills at the FREE street painting workshop, led by artist Jose Manuel Cruz! 

The workshop will take place on the greenway trail, located at Sertoma Arts Center. The floating workshop takes place between 12pm-3pm, so come when you can! Chalk + materials will be provided.

Thanks to the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County for making this workshop possible. 

The street painting workshop is hosted in conjunction with Arts Access Inc opening of "Fantastic Beasts" - an exhibition of artwork made by kids with and without disabilities; a make your own beast art activity. See more of their SOFE programs on their Facebook page. 

About the artist: 
Jose Manuel Cruz, a multi-time award winner of street painting will be leading the workshops. Mr. Cruz, a Puerto Rican/Columbian Latino Artist, has a unique style and loves working with color and all mediums. He has been an Art Educator for over 20 years at all grade levels. He has been and advocate for the arts in education and enjoys bring art to the communities and at the same time bring his experiences as a professional exhibiting artist and photographer back to the classroom.
